Too often education is reduced to a transactional exchange of tests, grades, and information that has been “covered.” People wrongly treat education as the mere transfer of information from one mind to another.

At FCS, we know this is not the case. The purpose of education is formation—training students to become lovers of God, awakened to His beauty, goodness, and truth.

Without purposeful formation, schools form students who are shallow intellectually and relativistic morally. Formation for a school is not optional.
